SAN DIEGO : Local Judges to Take Part in Court Forum
- Share via
About a dozen judges from the San Diego Muncipal and Superior courts will field questions about the law and the complexities of the courts at a free public forum April 28.
Laura Buxton of KGTV (Channel 10) will host the two-hour event, which begins at 7 p.m. at the Scottish Rite Center in Mission Valley, court staffers announced.
The forum is free but seating is limited, so early arrival is encouraged, staffers said.
Judges cannot comment on individual cases but can answer general questions about court procedures and the law, including civil lawsuits, traffic tickets, criminal prosecutions and divorces, according to Marilyn Laurence, a Superior Court spokeswoman.
Cox Cable plans to tape the event for later broadcast, Laurence said.
