NIGHTMARE HIGHWAY: California Highway Patrol spokesman Rick Pena offers a suggestion to those thinking about traveling the freeways today: “Rent a movie and stay home.” County freeways, especially the Interstate 5, are expected to be jammed for the annual El Toro Air Show (B2), which should draw close to a million this weekend. . . . “It will be a nightmare, both morning and afternoon,” Pena says. If you’re going to the air show at the Marine Corps Air Station, he advises, go early and allow plenty of extra time.
