SPIRITUAL BOOMING: Hoping to tap in on Orange County’s large numbers of unchurched baby boomers, the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America is drafting plans for an experimental mega-church in Yorba Linda to cater to yuppie spiritual needs. . . . “This is a generation that has been promised much,” says the Rev. Robert Hoyt, a church spokesman. “They’ve got all the material stuff and now they’re saying, ‘Isn’t there something more to life than this?’ ”
