Bad Influence

The first segment of “Dateline NBC” (March 31, NBC) entitled “Profits vs. Patriotism” was one of the shoddiest pieces of investigative journalism I can ever remember watching. The influence that tabloid journalism has had on network news is truly distressing. Hopefully, “Dateline NBC” is not a harbinger of NBC’s news strategy for the coming decade. If so, I encourage the network to dump its news division.
