MISSION VIEJO : Saddleback College Memorabilia Sought
- Share via
In preparing for its 25th anniversary celebration next fall, Saddleback College is searching throughout the community for memorabilia related to the college and its role in the community since 1968.
The college is particularly interested in any material related to Saddleback from the 1960s or 1970s. Officials are looking for news clippings, programs from athletic or fine arts events, photographs of the campus, its faculty, staff or students, and other historical items.
The college is also interested in news clippings, photographs or other events related to events in South County during that period.
Saddleback officials are planning a series of special events and displays during the college’s yearlong anniversary celebration, which will begin with an “Education: A Cause for Celebration” gala at the Mission Viejo Mall on Sept. 26.
All materials will be carefully handled and returned to the lender, college officials said.
Community members who have any items can call the college’s Office of Marketing and Development at (714) 582-4530.
