Talking Talk: With an eye to boosting daytime ratings, Cable News Network is talking to former “Today” anchor Deborah Norville and also to model Christie Brinkley about hosting an afternoon lifestyle show aimed at women. Sources at CNN said ratings for the network’s late-afternoon newscasts have been down in recent months, and executives are thinking about creating programming that would appeal to women.
