Police investigators on Tuesday released a composite drawing of a man who entered a college student’s room and fondled her while she slept.
The incident occurred Saturday at a house on the 200 block of 33rd Street shortly before 5:30 a.m., said Police Lt. Tim Newman.
Newman said the man entered the 20-year-old UC Irvine student’s room through a side door, which she said she had locked.
The woman told police she awoke when she felt the man touching her. She said she screamed out the names of her roommates, apparently frightening the man, who fled.
The intruder was described as 5 feet, 8 inches tall and 24 to 30 years old. He hasd dark hair, which is long on the top, police said.
Investigators ask anyone who may be able to identify the man to call Detective Jay Winn at (714) 644-3772.
