Libel Suit: The publisher of Faces, a magazine showcasing would-be models and actors, has filed a $100-million libel lawsuit against NBC stemming from what he terms a “distorted and inaccurate” report on his company that was broadcast May 12 on “Dateline NBC.” In the suit filed in New York federal court, George Goldberg says the program ignored his company’s successes and interviewed only competitors.
