Jury Deliberations

I am writing to thank you for highlighting the story of the five jurors whose persistence and belief in themselves helped them to see that a wrong only they knew about was righted. The defendant will have a second change for a clear verdict.
In the context of stories of Iraqi aid cover-ups, horror in Sarajevo and looming state budget cuts, this could be easily dismissed. To me it was a welcome reminder that Abraham Lincoln’s faith in the basic good sense of people was not misplaced. Would those who think they are leading up ponder this?
