The Albertville Olympics in February lost $57 million, but the French government will cover three-quarters of it, said Michel Barnier and Jean-Claude Killy, co-presidents of the Games’ organizing committee. The deficit was 6.6% of the budget of COJO, as the committee is known, they said.
