T.J. Maxx to Close Buena Park Store: T.J. Maxx, a discount apparel chain, said Friday that it will close its store in the Marketplace at Buena Park Shopping Center on Tuesday. The store’s 38 employees have been offered positions in other T.J. Maxx locations. Sales at the store have not been as successful as at other Southern California T.J. Maxx outlets, the company said. T.J. Maxx, based in Framingham, Mass., operates more than 450 stores nationally, including six in Orange County.
