MALE ROOMS: Women now sit in boardrooms of 60% of the major U.S. companies--an all-time high, a new study shows. But women still make up a dismal 7% of corporate directors. . . . . Gary Liebl, who founded the local chapter of the National Assn. of Corporate Directors, says the number of women serving on directors boards in Orange County is “frighteningly low,” probably fewer than the national average, because smaller companies tend to hold on to the status quo.
