Lesson No. 1 at the Darryl Strawberry School of Deductive Reasoning:
Premise: The two best teams in the NL West, Atlanta and Cincinnati, are moving to the NL East next year.
Premise: The Dodgers are in last place, showing no signs of moving up.
Darryl’s Conclusion: “This makes us the team to beat next year.”
My Conclusion: Better stick to telling the front office who to play and who to trade, Darryl. Looks like the logic game is too hot to handle.
