Early-Bird Emmys: Speaking of the TV academy, nominations for prime-time Emmy Awards will be announced bright and early--5:30--Thursday morning, and both CNN and E! Entertainment Television will provide live coverage. Traditionally, the network morning shows also cover the Emmy nominations, but those reports are not seen here until after the fact since the programs air on a three-hour tape delay. Emmy winners will be announced Aug. 30, with Tim Allen, Kirstie Alley and Dennis Miller hosting the annual awards telecast on Fox.
