Company Wins Contract Extension From Hughes: Pacific Scientific Co. has won a contract extension from Hughes Aircraft Co. worth more than $10 million.
Pacific Scientific, a maker of aerospace and industrial parts, will make 366 electrical power systems for the Navy’s MK48 Adcap torpedo program under a subcontract from Hughes.
Pacific Scientific, based in Newport Beach, has won more than $50 million in torpedo-related contracts from Hughes since 1968.
