Henson Teams With Disney on Cable Deal: Jim Henson Productions and Walt Disney Co. announced an arrangement that authorizes the Disney Channel to distribute a live-action television series, “Fraggle Rock,” plus three completed Henson films. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Fraggle Rock” is made up of 96 half-hour episodes and will begin airing five nights a week in October. The deal also provides for the Disney Channel to carry the three Henson films: “The Muppet Movie,” “The Great Muppet Caper” and “The Dark Crystal.”
