NEW YORK NOTES : A Woman’s Work

To ensure women’s news makes the headlines in at least one paper, feminists have banded together to publish a daily convention newsletter. Printed on hot pink paper, the two-page “Getting It Gazette,” (as in “they just don’t get it”) rates leading male Democrats’ on their support of women’s issues. The paper’s volunteers--more than 100 journalists from major publications--said they have no plans to attend the Republican National Convention next month.
