Still on View: Barbara Kruger’s monumental mural, “Untitled (Questions),” a landmark sight on the south wall of the Museum of Contemporary Art’s Temporary Contemporary in Little Tokyo, has been given a reprieve. The politically themed work was scheduled to be painted over this weekend as part of an agreement between MOCA, Kruger and Little Tokyo community groups stating that the mural would be taken down after two years. But because of a scheduling conflict with the painting company, it will remain unmarred until July 25. The nearly football-field sized mural depicts an American flag whose stripes are made up of nine direct questions, such as who is beyond the law, free to choose, salutes longest, prays loudest.
