The need for change within the parties, in the political system, in politics as usual, will last. What may not last is the call for the politicians to carry this out. Politicians are so vested in the status quo.
The political status quo needs to be shaken up every so often. I was able to do it and to demonstrate that I could change things from the inside.
For me, Perot’s was a very comfortable message to accept.
