Valley’s Own School District

Again, the residents of the San Fernando Valley are being shafted by the bureaucrats and politicians in City Hall.
As a product of public schools in the Valley, I can attest to the growing evolution of the community during the 25 years since my education began. One school board seat fully within the confines of the Valley is not enough; there must be two.
The people in Sylmar have more in common with the people in Van Nuys than those in Boyle Heights.
We longtime Valley residents have no alternative but to ask the Legislature to create a separate school district for the San Fernando Valley.
