Glendale
North Glendale Avenue, 200 block--An employee of a nightclub discovered $3,552 had been stolen from a safe between 5:30 a.m. July 12 and 8:30 a.m. July 13. There was no damage to the safe.
Ivy Street, 400 block--A robber who pried a screen off an apartment’s kitchen window between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 17 stole a mountain bike, a camcorder and a camera, valued at $1,070.
North Pacific Avenue, 1400 block--Jewelry of undisclosed value was stolen and the bedroom and den of a house were ransacked before robbers fled between 7:45 a.m. and 7:15 p.m. July 17.
Honolulu Avenue, 2900 block--A cocktail waitress preparing to leave after finishing her shift was raped by a man she knew as the owner of the establishment at 2:30 a.m. July 18. A suspect was arrested.
Louise Street and Maryland Place--A man who offered a person a ride at a service station had his wallet stolen at 2:30 p.m. July 19. The robber simulated having a weapon by putting his hand in his jacket.
West Windsor Road, 200 block--A seventh-grader on his way to classes at Mann School was assaulted by two youths who confronted him and pointed a knife at his chest at 3:10 p.m. July 19.
La Canada Flintridge
Pomander Place, 600 block--A burglar broke the front passenger window of a car and stole an AM/FM radio with CD player, valued at $450, between 9:30 and 10 p.m. July 17.
Foothill Boulevard, 600 block--Two men in a pickup truck stole eight pallets of wood, valued at $450, from Vons Market at 5:20 p.m. July 17.
La Crescenta
Foothill Boulevard, 3000 block--Clothing, furs, jewelry, firearms and stereo equipment, valued at $11,127, were stolen from a locked apartment between 7 p.m. July 17 and 6 p.m. July 19.
Orange Avenue, 2900 block--Two men were arrested for investigation of conspiracy to commit grand theft auto after police found screwdrivers, pliers, a slide hammer and a flashlight, items commonly used in such crimes, in their truck. The men were pulled over for failing to stop at a stop sign at 12:30 a.m. July 17.
Eagle Rock
Yosemite Drive and Townsend Avenue--A woman reported she was kidnaped by three men and raped before her abductors abandoned her at 8:55 p.m. July 12.
York Boulevard, 4600 block--A television and jewelry of undisclosed value were stolen from a store between 8:15 p.m. July 13 and 7:45 a.m. July 14.
Atwater
Casitas Avenue, 3200 block--Robbers forced their way into a locked parking lot and stole five truck trailers, four loaded with imported purses with a combined value of $200,000, between 12:30 p.m. July 11 and 8:15 a.m. July 13.
Casitas Avenue, 3500 block--Robbers forced their way through an apartment window and stole $1,040 worth of video equipment between 10 and 11:45 a.m. July 14.
Highland Park
Avenue 41 and Figueroa Street--Two men, one wielding a revolver, robbed a pedestrian of jewelry and money, valued at $1,010, at 10:40 p.m. July 16.
Avenue 66, 200 block--A robber entered a home through an open window between 9:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 17 and fled with $5,643 worth of sporting goods and video equipment.
Church Street, 6200 block--Jewelry and camera equipment, valued at $15,000, was stolen from a locked home between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. July 14.
Echo Park
North Coronado Street, 100 block--A radio, cassettes and records of undisclosed value were stolen from a home by robbers who pried open a living room window between 7:15 a.m. and 5:35 p.m. July 13.
Echo Park Avenue, 1300 block--Two men claiming to have guns stole jewelry and a car radio of undisclosed value from a person in a parking structure at 11:55 p.m. July 15.
Los Feliz
Seneca Avenue, 3600 block--Money and video equipment, valued at $2,050, were stolen from an apartment by thieves who forced their way through the front door between 7:30 a.m. and 6:15 p.m. July 15.
Riverside Drive, 3100 block--Auto parts and accessories, valued at $1,500, were stolen from a car parked in a driveway between 5 and 6 p.m. July 18.
Silver Lake
Lakeshore Avenue, 1900 block--An AM/FM radio and video equipment, valued at $1,900, were stolen from an apartment by burglars who entered through a bathroom window between 3 and 7 p.m. July 13.
Silverlake Boulevard, 1500 block--Money and a television, valued at $610, were stolen from an apartment after burglars pried open a bathroom window between 10:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. July 13.
Allesandro Street, 2100 block--The front window of an apartment was forced off by burglars who made off with $1,116 worth of television and video equipment between 8 and 9 a.m. July 13.
Glenfeliz Boulevard, 3700 block--Burglars entered an apartment through an open kitchen window between 7:20 a.m. and 7 p.m. July 15 and stole a radio, cameras and camera equipment valued at $2,145.
Glassell Park
Andrita Street, 3300 block--Two gunshots were fired into an inhabited apartment at 9:30 p.m. July 18. No injuries were reported.
