SAN DIEGO : Pickup Truck Is Pulled from Surf
- Share via
A silver pickup truck believed to have been stolen was lifted out of the ocean Monday morning at Sunset Cliffs south of Hill Street, Lifeguard Lt. Marshall Parks said.
The truck apparently was forced over the 30-foot cliff, he said. Someone who saw the truck upside down in the surf notified police, who called city lifeguards to help tow it out.
No one was inside.
Parks said several stolen cars end up in the surf each year.
