In the Arrowhead League:
Southern California Christian 14, Sherman Indian 6--SCC’s Joel Corral caught two passes for 54 yards and two touchdowns in the victory at Brea-Olinda High.
Mike Whatohomoble connected with Tim Moreno on a 33-yard pass play, capping a four-play, 30-yard drive that gave Sherman Indian a 6-0 lead with 2:05 left in the first quarter.
It took the Flames only one play to tie the score as Mike Felton connected with Corral on a 44-yard screen play with 5:57 left in the second quarter.
The Flames scored the final points of the game in the third quarter after a Brave fumble. The Flames recovered the ball on Sherman Indian’s 21-yard line and scored five plays later when Corral caught a 10-yard pass from Felton.
