Town Hall Sessions
I agree with Ross Perot when he calls for town hall meetings as the underpinning of a true democracy. The value of considerate, intelligent interchange was demonstrated in the second presidential debate. We got to see all three candidates doing their personal best, face to face with the people they serve. Ironically, it was Bill Clinton, not Perot, who turned out to be most effective working with a true cross section of Americans. When it comes to listening to the people, experience counts.
