Kudos for Information on Healthy Pregnancy

Thank you to the interesting piece on preconception care for women.
I recently read that smoking causes a higher percentage of abnormal sperm in men, leading to birth defects. Prospective fathers should quit smoking.
I wonder if junk food, caffeine, alcohol, drugs, X-rays or lawn chemicals could also affect a man’s production of healthy sperm. Perhaps if prospective fathers took extra-special care of themselves, the rate of birth defects would decline.
