Lincoln 13, Franklin 6--Senior safety Peter Cervantes scooped up a fumble late in the fourth quarter and raced 87 yards for the winning touchdown as Lincoln tied the best record in the Northern Conference Thursday at Wilson High.
On the previous play, with the score tied 6-6, a low snap forced Lincoln punter Marcelo Ortega to down the ball at his own 15-yard line.
Quarterback Gerardo Roman completed 11 of 25 passes for 125 yards. Ortega, who also plays wide receiver, had six catches for 83 yards.
