Washington’s Five Touchdowns Lead OCC

FULLERTON — Orange Coast College running back Eric Washington scored a school-record five touchdowns and gained 161 yards in 17 carries to lead the Pirates to a 40-15 victory over Fullerton in a Mission Conference Central Division game Saturday at Fullerton District Stadium.
Washington scored on runs of 67, 12, two, two and one yards. Orange Coast (6-3, 3-1 in division) led, 25-0, early in the second quarter.
The loss assured Fullerton (1-8, 1-3) of its worst record in school history.
Fullerton quarterback Josh Nelson passed for 217 yards, completing 11 of 20 passes, including a 67-yard touchdown pass to Vince Wilson.
