FULLERTON — Mark Kotsay, a pitcher/outfielder from Santa Fe High School in Santa Fe Springs, has signed a letter of intent to play baseball at Cal State Fullerton.
Kotsay, who also is the quarterback on Santa Fe’s football team and a member of the school’s basketball team, hit .408 to earn All-Whitmont League honors last season. He had a 4-0 pitching record and 3.18 earned-run average.
Kotsay is the fourth high school player to sign with the Titans this week, joining Norwalk pitcher Jose Peraza, Modesto Downey shortstop Jack Jones and Fresno Hoover pitcher Ryan Campbell.
