Dorsey Wins Big, Ruins Cleveland’s Second Chance

Dorsey High guard Shewyn Morgan scored 17 points as the Dons spoiled Reseda Cleveland’s second chance in the boys’ basketball playoffs with a 70-59 win in a City Sction 4-A semifinal Wednesday night at Crenshaw High.
The Cavaliers were eliminated by Carson last Friday, but Carson was disqualified for using an ineligible player and Cleveland (15-7) was reinstated Tuesday.
The Dons (18-8) went ahead for good with a 7-0 run in the second quarter for a 37-31 halftime lead.
Dorsey will play Southern League rival Crenshaw in the 4-A final Saturday night.
