Hauer, Richardson to Star in ‘Fatherland’

Rutger Hauer and Miranda Richardson have been signed to star in “Fatherland,” a TV movie for HBO based on the novel by Robert Harris, which looks at what the Third Reich might have been like had Germany won World War II.

Hauer plays a German detective and Richardson portrays an American journalist; together they team up to expose secrets about Adolf Hitler’s regime. The production will be filmed in Berlin and Prague.
