Alpha Microsystems Acquisition

SANTA ANA — Alpha Microsystems, developer of business computers and software, said Thursday that it has acquired the computer maintenance business and related assets of Alpha Computer Services Inc. for about $1.5 million in cash.

Alpha Microsystems, which has focused on servicing computers for corporations, said it expects to add $2 million to its estimated $45 million in annual revenue as a result of the deal.

Alpha Computer Services’ business in San Rafael in Northern California will become part of Alpha Microsystems’ service operations subsidiary.
