Newport Beach Dukes owner Fred Lieberman said Tuesday he has sold the contract of Amy Frazier to the Idaho Sneakers for an undisclosed amount of cash and other considerations. Lieberman said he wants to acquire a “franchise player,” who will lead the Dukes to a World TeamTennis title.
Frazier, 21, helped lead Newport Beach to the WTT finals the last two seasons. Frazier will be rejoining Greg Patton, who coached the Dukes for four seasons before leaving to coach Idaho after last season.
