SIMI VALLEY : Home Repair Loans Offered to the Needy

Needy Simi Valley residents interested in making home repairs may qualify for low-interest loans through the city.
Government-subsidized loans of up to $20,000 with interest rates as low as 4% are available to low- and moderate-income homeowners in Simi Valley. Loans are also available for mobile home owners.
The loans may be used to repair earthquake damage or for other home improvements such as painting, landscaping and adding rooms.
Funding for the loans is provided in part by the federal Community Development Block Grant program and the local Community Development Agency.
