SANTA MONICA : Bus Runs Over Woman, 90, Who Stumbled on Curb

A 90-year-old Santa Monica woman was killed Wednesday morning when she was run over by a bus from which she had just gotten off, police said.
The accident occurred near 4th Street and Broadway as the bus pulled away from a passenger stop. Santa Monica Police Sgt. Gary Gallinot said the woman stumbled on a curb, reached back to the moving bus for support and fell under the rear wheels. Her identity was withheld pending notification of relatives.
