BASEBALL / DAILY REPORT : ANGELS

Angel outfielder Bo Jackson, who says he’s feeling the best he has all spring, celebrated his .400 batting average with a little extra-circular activity. He took his bow-and-arrow into the bleachers Thursday after everyone departed, shooting quite accurately at a target about 50 yards away . . . First baseman Eduardo Perez, who felt Giant outfielder Willie McGee’s teeth sinking into his head in a collision at first base, shrugged off the pain and hit a three-run homer in the ninth inning. “It was great because I got to hit it in front of my godfather (Orlando Cepeda),” Perez said. “He said, ‘You hit that for me, right?’ ” . . . The Angels are expected to make their first wave of roster cuts today, but no veterans will be included, Rodgers said. They probably will send out: Pitchers Troy Percival, Ron Watson, Kyle Sebach, Bruce Egloff, Kyle Sebach, Bob Gamez and John Fritz; catchers Jose Monzon and Fausto Tejero; and outfielder Mark Sweeney.
