Albert Belle had three home runs and five runs batted in, and Michael Jordan’s hitless streak grew to 0 for 12 in the Cleveland Indians’ 16-10 Grapefruit League victory over the Chicago White Sox. Jordan had a strikeout, groundout and walk in three at-bats. . . . Mike Witt extended his scoreless spring training streak to seven innings with four in helping the Oakland A’s beat the Chicago Cubs, 6-0. . . . Domingo Martinez had five RBIs, and the Toronto Blue Jays rallied from a five-run deficit to beat the Texas Rangers, 10-9. . . . A six-run fifth inning that included rookie Keith Mitchell’s grand slam led Seattle’s 11-1 victory the Milwaukee Brewers. . . . Steve Lake’s double and a bases-loaded walk by Detroit’s Mike Gardiner keyed a three-run ninth inning, and the Cincinnati Reds rallied to defeat the Detroit Tigers, 7-5. . . . Erik Pappas drew a decisive bases-loaded walk from Mike Loynd in the ninth inning, giving the St. Louis Cardinals a 3-2 victory over the Kansas City Royals. . .. Armando Reynoso, bidding to become Colorado’s opening-day starter, pitched four shutout innings as the Rockies beat the San Diego Padres, 8-4. . . . John Cangelosi went four for four, and Quilvio Veras had four RBIs to lead a 17-hit attack as the split-squad New York Mets beat the error-ravaged Houston Astros, 12-8. In the other game, Kevin McReynolds and Fernando Vina had three hits apiece, leading the Mets past the Montreal Expos, 8-4. . . . Minnesota’s Denny Hocking had three hits and two RBIs in the Twins’ 8-7 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates.
