Capistrano Valley Plays Mater Dei in Baseball

Capistrano Valley and Mater Dei, South Coast League rivals, will face each other in the final of the Newport Elks baseball tournament at 2:30 p.m. today at Tustin High.
Fountain Valley and Diamond Bar will play in the Loara Diamond tournament final at 7:30 tonight at Glover Stadium.
Capistrano Valley (3-0) and Mater Dei (4-0) are two of the league favorites this season. Mater Dei won the league championship last season and Capistrano Valley finished third.
Fountain Valley (4-0) is the defending Sunset League champion.
