BRIEFLY : Music: Scholarship Auditions Scheduled

The Westside Junior Philharmonic Committee will hold scholarship auditions March 22.
Students will be judged on talent, technique, promise and need. Winners will win a place in the orchestra and scholarships varying from $100 to $500.
Entrants must be enrolled in grades six to 12, reside or study on the Westside, and have a written recommendation from a teacher. At the audition, they must perform a piece of classical music for three to five minutes.
