Getty Grants Make Internships Available to Minority Students

The Getty Grant program will give $293,000 to 45 museums and visual arts organizations in Los Angeles County so they can offer summer internships to 90 college students of African American, Asian, Hispanic, Native American and Pacific Islander descent.
The Getty Grant Program started the internship giving program last year to introduce a diverse group of students to the museum field.
Interns will be chosen by the museums and nonprofit visual arts organizations, which were selected based on the opportunities they offered.
