Water Systems Will Receive Flushing

To ensure water quality, water systems in Moorpark and Somis will receive their annual flushing starting Tuesday.
Staff from Ventura County Waterworks Districts No. 1 and 19, which provide potable water to those areas, will conduct the flushings periodically between 11 p.m. and 7 a.m.
Residents may see district staff opening fire hydrants and running water during the flushing, which is expected to be completed by April 28.
