There is no map for the new country being created by Bosnian Muslims and Croats because rebel Serbs still occupy more than 40% of its coveted territory.
But U.S. officials mediating the latest round of peace talks for war-battered Bosnia-Herzegovina refuse to be discouraged by such details.
On Friday, political leaders of the Bosnian Muslims and Croats who had been fighting each other until a few days ago are due in Washington for a ceremony to endorse the draft constitution they have written for their yet-to-be-delineated state.
