Explosives experts disarmed a bomb outside a railroad station south of London in a suspected Irish Republican Army action that followed three mortar attacks on the city’s Heathrow Airport in a week. Service was suspended, and nearby streets were sealed off as police searched the area. The station was reopened about six hours later. There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
