EDUCATION : Arts School: Auditions Scheduled

Auditions are being scheduled for students in grades 9 to 11 who want to enroll this fall in the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts.
Visual arts portfolio screenings and performance auditions in dance, theater, vocal and instrumental music will be held at 9 a.m. at Cal State Los Angeles on April 17.
Arts High School, operated by the Los Angeles County Office of Education, is a tuition-free, comprehensive public school. It offers instruction in dance, theater, music and visual arts, taught by working professionals. Students also take a full range of academic courses and may participate in the school’s college-credit program.
To receive an application and set an audition appointment, students may call (213) 343-ARTS. The application deadline is March 25.
