Oak Park’s Pride

On Feb. 15 at Oak Park High School, Rep. Anthony Beilenson presented Cliff Moore with a flag signifying that our school was honored as a National Blue Ribbon award winner. For the record, this award was presented to only 210 high schools in the United States, only 35 in the state of California, and Oak Park High School was the only high school to receive the award in Ventura County. Such a distinction deserves recognition.
The Oak Park Unified School District has come a long way since it opened as a school district in September, 1978. Now with six schools (two of which have received national recognition and two of which have received state recognition) in our district and continuous growth ahead, our family is proud to be a part of the Oak Park Unified School District.
