OCC Men, Women Do Well at Swim Meet

The Orange Coast College men’s and women’s swim teams won Saturday in the Wells Invitational at Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo.
The men’s team scored 619 points, winning four of five relays and four individual titles--three by Matthias Otte--in the second day of competition to outdistance second-place Cuesta (515 1/2). Golden West was third with 417 points.
Otte won the 100 backstroke, the 100 breaststroke and the 50 freestyle.
The OCC women scored 756 points, winning three relays and two individual titles Saturday. Diablo Valley was second with 332 points and the Golden West women were fifth with 261.
