Ex-Favorite Spot

My husband and I enjoy getaways to Idyllwild several times a year. The Restaurant Gastronome (admired by a reader in Letters, March 6) was stricken from our “favorite spots” list when we were told by management, in response to our complaint of poor service, that our concerns were not important to the restaurant since we were not local residents. In contrast to the miserable treatment at Gastronome, we thoroughly enjoy the Chart House and the River Rock Cafe.
