BEVERLY HILLS : City Council Chooses Kahn for Planning Commission
- Share via
The City Council has appointed Julie O. Kahn to serve on the Planning Commission for a four-year term beginning in May.
Kahn, a resident of the city’s southeast La Cienega Park area, was one of 39 applicants for the volunteer post, said Vice Mayor Vicki Reynolds, who nominated Kahn at Tuesday’s council meeting.
Kahn is a member of the Architectural Commission and has also served on the Single Family Development Review Commission. She will fill a vacancy created by the expiring term of Commissioner Paul Selwyn, who in April will complete his second term, the maximum allowed by the city.
The five-member Planning Commission works with the Planning Department to review residential and commercial requests for zoning changes and city code variances.
