SIMI VALLEY : City May Offer Free Buses for Trade Fair
- Share via
For the fourth year in a row, the Simi Valley City Council will consider picking up the tab for bus service during the Chamber of Commerce Trade Fair.
If the council approves the request, which is up for consideration at today’s meeting, residents will get a free ride on Simi Valley Transit buses during the fair.
In past years, council members have approved the plan, saying the free service could encourage new riders to take the bus.
The Trade Fair, scheduled May 21 and 22, is designed to showcase local businesses.
