For residents who have not visited the Civic Center in a while, Saturday is a good time to come calling.
Tours of City Hall and other buildings will be conducted all day as part of the city’s annual spring festival at the Civic Center Gardens on Westminster Boulevard. The festival begins at 10 a.m. and ends at 3 p.m. Admission is free.
A pancake breakfast from 8 to 10 a.m. at the Community Services Building opens the day’s festivities. The cost of breakfast is $3.50. The proceeds will be used to fund activities at the Senior Center.
During the day, there will be carnival games, pony rides, a petting zoo and craft exhibits. The Easter Bunny will visit at noon.
The Community Services and Recreation Department is sponsoring the spring festival. For additional information, call (714) 895-2860.
