Easter Meals and Bunnies Abound

Photos with the Easter Bunny are a highlight of the Easter morning brunch and yacht cruise offered by Hornblower Dining Yachts. The cruise leaves from Newport Beach at 11 a.m., cruises around the harbor and returns at 1 p.m.
Buffet items include eggs Benedict, scrambled eggs, bacon, turkey and salads. The cost is $29.95 for each adult; half-price for children 12 and under. Reservations are required.

Roger Rabbit, Thumper, and the White Rabbit from “Alice in Wonderland” will be among the famous bunnies celebrating Easter at the Disneyland Hotel. A buffet brunch runs from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The price is $34.50 for adults, $12.50 for children ages 4 to 12, and $3 for kids 3 and under. On the menu is glazed ham, roast sirloin, fish, shrimp, pastas, waffles, omelets, salads, fruit and dessert.

Pascal Epicerie is busily preparing Easter baskets to carry out for Sunday. The baskets, which are $51.90 for two people, contain a poached salmon with herb sauce and spring vegetables, a choice of rotisserie chicken or rosemary grilled lamb, Easter cake and chocolate truffles.

Pony rides, a Dixieland band and Easter egg hunts accompany brunch at the Hyatt Newporter Resort on Sunday. The festivities begin at 10 a.m. and end at 3 p.m., with egg hunts scheduled for 11, 12:30 and 2 on the hotel’s golf course.
The buffet (with omelets, salads, seafood, meats, fruit and dessert) is $27.95 for adults, $13.95 for children under 12 and free for children 3 and under. Prices do not include tax; reservations recommended.

Baci Ristorante has invited Markham Winery to pair wines with a five-course dinner Monday night beginning at 6:30.
Among the dishes are avocado with shrimp (with a 1993 Sauvignon blanc), polenta and sausage in tomato sauce (with a 1991 Merlot) and veal chop with porcini mushrooms (1990 Cabernet Sauvignon).
The price is $43.50 per person, which includes tax and tip.
